Personalisation: DataSpace’s 4 Hour Fire Rated Archive Vaults are purpose built, secure intermodal 20-inch steel containers that are fitted with professional archive shelving which can be configured to the exact requirements of our clients archives.

Security: Each Archive Vault is constructed using cortex steel, is protected by 4 protection locking bars, and can be security sealed or padlocked as an additional security measure. Each Archive Vault is capable of holding approximately 400 standard A4 Archive Boxes.

Fire Protection: The Archive Vaults are externally built for intermodal transport and are inherently strong, but are then further strengthened inside before being fire insulated and lined with a specialist Promat fire rated Durasteel product – creating a unique 4 hour fire rated vault.

Ownership: The Archive Vaults can be either shared space or individually assigned to a single client and contain internal barcode location references to assign any of the documents or boxes to the specific archive bunker.

Accessible: If required Archive Vaults can be placed in a space the size of a single car and have the ability to be stacked up to 6 high.  When the Archive Vault is full, it can be uplifted and transported to the unique DataSpace FACT (Fully Automated Container Terminal), where it will be placed into secure storage specially designed and constructed warehouse until access is required. If retrieval of a box or file is required from an Archive Vault, a computerised crane system locates the correct Archive Vault and it can be accessed within 1 hour (if required).

Adaptable: Although the Archive Vault is primarily designed for the safe protection of archive material, the potential uses for the containers are vast. Many clients use containers for product storage, stock control, surplus office equipment, furniture and artefacts of historical importance.

What retrieval timescales are available for retrieving from a vault?
DataSpace will work with you to establish your exact retrieval requirements and will develop a tailor made service level agreement to reflect the timescales needed to retrievals.
