The Human Tissue Authority conduct inspections to check that licensed establishments maintain good standards and follow appropriate procedures.
NHS Data Security Protection and Toolkit
DataSpace has completed and published an assessment for the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit and is fully compliant to all applicable requirements.
The Data Security and Protection Toolkit has been developed by NHS Digital as the data security standard for healthcare organisations and their partners. It replaced the Information Governance Toolkit from April 2018.
The Toolkit requires organisations to demonstrate that they are complying with the National Data Guardian’s ten data security standards and data protection legislation (GDPR). All organisations that have access to NHS patient data and systems must use this toolkit to provide assurance that they are practicing good data security and that personal information is handled correctly.
