//Severe Weather Warnings Issued

With the clocks going back this weekend on Sunday 27th October it is officially the end of British Summer Time!  drying books

We are already experiencing bad rain and wind with parts of Hampshire being hit by a mini-tornado, this extreme weather isn’t going to slow down anytime soon and weather forecasters predicting a month of rain.  With this in mind all we can think about here at DataSpace is… are you taking the right measures to keep you Documents safe and secure from flood and water damage this Winter?

Many businesses opt to keep their records on site in spaces not being used such as garages, lofts and basements.  These areas are often not the best environments for secure storage of your important documents due to pests and damp all year round.  However, with the torrential rain we are likely to see a lot of this Winter and the possibility of snow, could your business survive floodinglosing all of its vital paperwork or a substantial chunk of your confidential files being damaged by flooding?

Storing your documents offsite with DataSpace will give you the confidence that they are being stored in a secure weather safe environment accredited to BS5454 which is the standard for the Professional Document Archiving and Record Management Services.  DataSpace’s purpose built Document Management facilities have been built on land that is not on a flight path and not on a flood plane so you can relax knowing we have taken extra security measures so you don’t have to.
