Confidential destruction, shredding & recycling
DataSpace provide confidential destruction, shredding and recycling services that can be utilised on an adhoc or scheduled basis.
Destruction and shredding services
The DataSpace shredding process is compliant to the regulation of BS EN 15713:2009 for Secure destruction of confidential material – code of practice, Annex A level 6, namely shred by cross cutting to a maximum cutting width of 4mm or maximum particle size of 320mm2.
Our shredding services are ISO27001:2013 accredited for Information Security Management.
The management and control of the destruction process is of the highest order, with built in quality control gates throughout the process. No document or record would be destroyed without approved signed workorders from the approved account members within the clients organisation.
Once all destruction processes have been completed, a Certificate of Destruction is provided to you as evidence of compliance of secure destruction procedures and disposal.
The Certificate of Destruction will include details of the workorder number that the destruction services was instructed to be completed under, details of the items destroyed, date of the destruction, and requestor details.
When you no longer require a paper document, but aren’t shredding it immediately, you need to know that it isn’t going to be misplaced or used incorrectly by someone else.
DataSpace sell and hire lockable bins which can be used to ensure that when you decide a document is no longer required, it is not accessed unnecessarily or without the document owner’s knowledge or permission.
