
Archive Bunker
To compliment the comprehensive off-site management and storage of valuable data, DataSpace has developed the unique facility to provide clients with additional on-site archive storage space.
The Archive Bunker is a purpose built new secure ISO 20′ steel shipping container that comes fully racked and configured to a clients requirements.
Each Bunker is newly constructed using corten steel, and is protected by 4 protection locking bars and can be security sealed or padlocked for the safe protection of the valuable information held within.
Archive Bunkers’ can be placed in the space required for a single car and have the ability to be stacked up-to 6 high. When the Bunker is full it can be uplifted, transported to the unique DataSpace FACT (Fully Automated Container Terminal) were it will be placed into secure fire safe storage in a specially designed and constructed warehouse until access is required.
If retrieval of a box or file is required a computerised crane system locates the correct container and the Bunker can be accessed within 1 hour (if required).
Although the Archive Bunker is primarily designed for the safe protection of archive material the potential uses for the containers is vast. Many clients use additional containers for product storage, surplus office equipment and furniture, Stock control, a Fireproof Safe etc. The FACT has the ability to operate as a self-storage facility for existing commercial clients to add and/or remove items as required.

4 Hour Fire Protection
DataSpace are able to offer a unique automated facility that controls specialist fire rated archive bunkers. Each Archive bunker is capable of holding approx 400 standard archive cartons.
The units are externally built for intermodal transport and are inherently strong but are then further strengthened inside before being fire insulated and then lined with a specialist Promat fire rated Durasteel product to create a unique fireproof safe.
This ensures that all documents are protected for at the absolute minimum 4 hours. The Archive Bunkers can be either shared space or individually assigned to a single client and contain internal barcode location references to assign any of the documents or boxes to the specific archive bunker.

Fully Automated Retrieval
The warehouse that contains the archive bunkers is completely automated and any bunker that is requested to the loading bay is entered into the cranes management system which will locate the archive bunker within the warehouse and transport it directly to the loading bay for the DataSpace staff to pick the requested documentation.
The storage solution is perfect for clients that have to retain important documentation such as Wills and Deeds.
